Phonesoap – Building a Bacteria Free Empire!
Published by Daniel RoneyStarting as college students in Utah Wesley LaPorte and Daniel Barnes have created an inspiring business success. Beginning back in 2012, with the launch of the original Phonesoap, in just 4 years they have growth rapidly with current sales of close to $5M. Now a thriving enterprise it’s great to see that the founders still have the same energy that they had back when it all started.
For those of you that don’t know about the growing range of Phonesoap products (and couldn’t quite guess from the company name!) let me tell you the basics. Well we all know how important hygiene is in our daily life and it’s no surprise that germs and bacteria cover the surface of our phone. It’s a problem that has crept up on us as phones have progressed from devices to make voice calls on to handheld computers that you can almost run your business and life on. They are constantly in our hands and with us almost every moment.
The Phonesoap allows users to clean and remove the bacteria on their smartphone and at the same time charge the device. Charging is the only time we are willing to part with our previous devices so sanitizing in parallel is the only window of opportunity! The product was the first of its kind and has allowed LaPorte and Barnes to carve out their very own niche. We all know the value of creating your own market and this is another testament to this marketing principle. The current model Phonesoap completes its sanitizing cycle in 10 minutes leaving you to experience a much healthier and bacteria free lifestyle. It fits almost all makes and model including the larger devices that have become popular over the last few years.
Looking back to the beginning of our involvement with this aspiring brand it was a great experience all the way. Our team enjoyed sharing their knowledge and working alongside the Phonesoap team as they grew and matured as a business. LaPorte’s vision and driving force is always present together with his ability to capture the growing demand for healthy smartphone usage.
